Chloe and Nate's Pendennis Club Wedding | Indianapolis Wedding Photographer
Chloe and Nate's wedding was filled with dreamy taupe chiffon, blue sparkly shoes, white hydrangea, and most importantly of all, warm laughter with their friends and family.
I first met Chloe and Nate at Chloe's older brother's wedding last year. So imagine my excitement when I got a call asking from Chloe (and her sweet mom, Donna!) if I was available Labor Day weekend.
Their ceremony was at the historic St Bonafice Church in downtown Louisville. St Bonafice's striking gold doors, dramatic stain glass, and beautifully carved pews were absolutely breathtaking. But the architecture was not the only thing melting the guests' hearts... Chloe and her dad walking arm in arm down the aisle was my favorite part of the day. I think we all melted.
After the ceremony, guests headed to the Pendennis Club for cocktails, toasts, dinner, dancing and CAKE! I love this group and their ability to dance ALL. NIGHT. LONG!
I'm so lucky that this little family found me, that I got to be there to witness C&N's lovely wedding day, and that I can now share it all with you.
One last thing before you scroll, Chloe wrote the most adorable piece on she and Nate's love story. If you don't think this is the one of cutest thing you've ever read, your heart is made of stone...
"How we met and proposal story: Once upon a time, almost four years ago, Nathan and Chloe became a duo. After meeting at a party through Matchmaker Sam, Nathan sent Chloe a modern day telegram. A first date at Hammerheads proved a success, little did they know how their love would transgress. Chloe a first time teacher and Nathan in law school, time flew by and they were stuck in a whirlpool. Happily in love with each new day, Chloe knew Nathan was quickly sweeping her away. Their family and friends continued to praise, the blossoming relation that kept them both in a haze. Finally one day they realized their love was a gift that was sent from way up above. On a warm summer morning on a hike by a lake, Nathan got on one knee and Chloe's hand he did take. A scratch off, a ring, and some champagne too, Chloe promised Nathan forever saying I do. With family and friends all around, and wine to share, this duo will feel all the love in the air. A promise they vow forever to take and with you there to help celebrate."
Cheers to the newlyweds!
