Alaina and Michael's Indianapolis Hotel Indy Engagement Session

Alaina and Michael’s Hotel Indy engagement session was one for the books, and I loved every second of it! This modern, funky boutique hotel in downtown Indianapolis has so much personality, just like these two. Between the bold design, the cool architectural details, and their nonstop laughter, it was the perfect spot to capture some playful, stylish engagement photos.

Alaina and Michael met in med school, and the chemistry between them is undeniable. Michael is originally from Florida, while Alaina is right here from Indianapolis. From the moment we started, they were cracking each other up. MY FAVORITE. Honestly, it felt less like work and more like hanging out with old friends who happen to be quite photogenic.

We explored all the fun corners of Hotel Indy, finding little pockets of light and texture that made every image pop. My favorite part? Watching them just be themselves. Laughing, teasing, and sneaking in those sweet, romantic moments that happen so naturally when two people are completely comfortable together.

Their October wedding at Bottleworks Hotel can’t come soon enough! Bottleworks has such an incredible mix of history and modern style, and I already know these two are going to bring the party. If their engagement session was any indication, their wedding day will be full of joy, laughter, and a whole lot of dancing.
