There was an effortless quality to Shelby and Ryan's wedding day that made it so memorable.

Nothing felt rushed or overcomplicated. Every decision, from the intimate guest list to the soft palette of pale blue and white, felt like an interpretation of who they are together. The celebration was timeless with all the beautiful traditions we look forward to seeing. But their unique relationship made it all feel special, gentle, and new.

The Sycamore at Mallow Run was the perfect backdrop. As the day unfolded, beautiful skies stretched over the vineyard, giving us every excuse to wander out among the vines for portraits. Watching Shelby and Ryan run hand in hand through the rows, laughing together as the sun dipped lower, felt less like directing photos and more like documenting two people completely at home with each other.

One photograph, though, continues to stay with me.

The photo of Shelby and Ryan under her veil. I think I literally gasped when I took it, and it continues to leave me breathless.

It’s become of my favorites I’ve taken so far this year.

The rest of the evening carried that same feeling. Surrounded by the people who matter most, Shelby and Ryan celebrated with genuine joy, proving that a wedding doesn't need an overflowing guest list or endless extravagance to feel unforgettable. Sometimes all it takes is a beautiful setting, thoughtful details, and two people who are completely certain they've found their forever.

Shelby and Ryan, thank you for trusting me to preserve such a meaningful day. It was an honor to tell your story, and I hope these photographs always bring you back to the quiet magic of this evening.
