From the quiet moments getting ready at Bottleworks Hotel to the final songs beneath a glowing clear-top tent at Woodstock Club, their day was filled with thoughtful details, contagious joy, and the genuine kindness that makes everyone around them feel like family.

These are the weddings I look forward to all year long, and remember for years to come.

A Stylish Start at Bottleworks Hotel

The morning began at the always beautiful Bottleworks Hotel in downtown Indianapolis. You just can’t beat this backdrop. Olivia and her bridesmaids looked stunning in matching toile pajamas while getting ready together, a preview of one of my favorite design details of the day.

The bridesmaids later stepped into coordinating toile dresses, creating one of the most cohesive and timeless bridal party looks I've seen. It's always fun when couples and planners find ways to weave a pattern or color throughout the entire wedding design, and this one felt effortlessly elegant.

A Timeless Ceremony at St. John's Cathedral

Few ceremony locations in Indianapolis feel quite as grand as St. John's Cathedral.

Its soaring architecture, incredible light, and rich history created an unforgettable venue as Olivia walked down the aisle. Watching these two exchange vows was incredibly sweet. They have such a quiet tenderness about them. Always totally present with one another.

Every Detail Was Intentionally Designed

If you've ever wondered what happens when exceptional planning meets exceptional taste, this wedding is your answer.

Every corner of the day reflected the thoughtful vision of Olivia and Matt, their families, and the indelible Anne Rogers. Nothing felt overdone, and every detail felt intentional. From the elegant color palette to the seamless guest experience that unfolded throughout the day.

The reception at Woodstock Club was filled with beautiful florals, polished design, warm candlelight, and thoughtful personal touches that made the entire celebration feel welcoming from beginning to end.

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings is watching guests discover little surprises throughout the evening, and Olivia and Matt had plenty of those.

Rain? No Problem.

About halfway through the ceremony, the rain decided it wanted an invitation.

Thankfully, no one seemed interested in letting the weather change a single thing.

Instead, guests gathered beneath the stunning clear-top tent where they danced to incredible music from The Bishops. What weather?

The Donut Truck

You have to know by now that late night snacks are something everyone looks forward to. And what could be more perfect than freshly fried mini donuts.

Late in the evening, a mini donut truck rolled in and immediately became a hit.

Guests lined up for fresh, piping-hot donuts, and then in one of my favorite moments of the day, Olivia and Matt stepped behind the fryer and gave it a whirl. Not only is it fun to have experiences like this one, but when the couple engages with it and shares that with their guests, it fills me with pure joy.

A Wedding Full of Heart

At the end of the day, beautiful details will always make a wedding memorable.

But genuine kindness makes it unforgettable.

Olivia and Matt created a celebration that was elegant without feeling formal, luxurious without feeling distant, and full of intentional moments that reflected exactly who they are. It was an honor to spend the day documenting every laugh, every happy tear, every dance move, and every donut. (Don’t worry, they made sure I got some for the road.)

Olivia and Matt, thank you for trusting me with your wedding day. It was an absolute privilege to witness the beginning of this next chapter together. I have no doubt your marriage will be every bit as joyful, gracious, and full of laughter as the celebration that started it.
