Meet Emery and Rachel!
Their stunning Mill Top wedding was definitely the best possible way to end the 2016 wedding season. We laughed literally all day. These two have such a great chemistry, and every second of the day was utter perfection. The Mill Top team did a fabulous job pulling everything together!
I could seriously drone on an on about how much I love these two, the fun we had, and the amazing pictures, but I wanted you to hear a story from them. One about how Emery asked Rachel about forever. Here's how it went (in their own words...)
"Emery asked on Christmas Day - cheesy right? But you have to remember Emery is awkward. For every big holiday the couple celebrates, Emery always buys Rachel a book and a piece of jewelry. So for Christmas he had everything planned out - he had the ring so the jewelry part of the gift was covered, now the book was all that was left. He figured out how to catalogue ALL of the text messages they had ever sent one another and planned to print it as a book for Rachel - until he realized the book would be somewhere in the lengths of 3600 pages! So instead he found key moments from their conversations - first exchanges, first "I love yous" and had those framed. These were followed by a fake conversation he created using a text message generator in which he asked Rachel to marry him."
Too stinking cute, right? And totally appropriate since I'm posting this on Christmas Eve. <3
Cheers to the newlyweds!
