It was a snowy Valentine's Day wedding for Susana and Matt.
If there's one thing I remember from my first meeting with Susana, it was that she had a very precise vision from her day. Her 30 pound binder with it's many pages and folders yielded some really exciting (and way too complicated for my skill level) DIY projects that I knew only Susana could pull off. And boy did she pull it off!
Their baroque inspired, gold and blush, Mill Top wedding was as grandeur as it was intimate. Sixty of their closest friends and family (slowly but ever so surely) made their way in through the snow to be a part of Susana and Matt's buddhist wedding, which was a first for me! At the end of the ceremony, the sound of bells ringing from the crowd carried through the halls as they made their exit. It was so joyful!
The reception hall was no exception when it came to beautifully executed and coordinated DIY projects. The dozen chandeliers hanging around the room sealed the baroque ambiance. After many heartfelt (and some very short) toasts, it was off to dancing with one of my new favorite wedding bands, My Yellow Rickshaw!
I love Susana and Matt and hope you will also love their wedding photos!
Cheers, friends! Let's have a puppy play date soon!
And so ends my last post as "Rebecca Shehorn," and what a post to end on! Love you two!
