Kaylin and Blaise | Destination Philadelphia Wedding

Watch out, cause this blog is going to be a doozy.

First off, I love these two. It was apparent from the moment we talked that these two were meant to be. Kindred spirits, I would call them. It wasn't just apparent to me how much in love they were. But all of their friends and family knew as well that these two would go far, together.

So of course I was ecstatic when they asked me to come out to Pennsylvania to have a part in their wedding day. And what a truly memorable trip it was! Granted, driving 16 hours in a blizzard wasn't the most enjoyable thing in the world. But it was all completely and 100% worth it all to get to watch two friends join together in a beautiful ceremony.

Their ceremony and reception were in this grandiose church right in the epicenter of Philadelphia. And even though it felt like -30 out, the city couldn't have been more beautiful for Kaylin and Blaise. What troopers they were too! Letting me take them all around the city, in the snow, in the freezing weather to get some really great stuff. Kaylin even wore these adorable LL Bean boots under her dress (of which I totally went home and ordered a pair.) Even the girls in their short bride's maid's dresses didn't complain! A photographers dream.

After a beautiful ceremony surrounded by friends and family, the party moved upstairs to this amazing room with a catwalk balcony. Rope lights, candelabras, and tall centerpieces made the room look so elegant. And no PA party would be complete without a hefty supply of... Yuengling. Noms. Needless to say, after some very heart warming toasts, and a few beers down the hatch, the party got started and they sent Kaylin and Blaise off to their (warm) California honeymoon with a bang!

So here's to long-lost friends, here's to safe travels, and here's to a couple who truly cherish each other. Cheers!
