Here comes one of the most incredible weddings of the summer!
Emily and Michael are awesome. For reals. And their wedding was nothing short of the same.
These two love birds decided to tie the knot where they got engaged, way down in Vivey, Indiana. (Pronounced Vee Vee, I learned this after pronouncing it wrong for months. #winning). Scene: Picture a beautiful victorian mansion set upon a hill in a quaint little town. That's where this story begins.
I had been anticipating this day for a number of reasons, but one being, seeing Emily's dress. And it did not disappoint. This bad boy took a solid 30 minutes to get on. And the bling... oh, the bling... it was glorious. There were many tender moments as she got into the dress, and a few near tear moments. But after she was in, there was no denying she looked spectacular!
Next came the ceremony, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was hands down one of the most heart felt ceremonies I've seen. They both care so deeply for each other, and I'm not sure there was a dry eye in the house.
Then came the reception. EPPPPPPIC. What happens when a bunch of band geeks get together for a wedding? I'll tell you. Constant serenading! Several people had chosen special songs to sing to the nuptials including a quartet a cappella rendition of "All you Need is Love" by the Beatles.
Take a look and I think you'll agree that these two are super special. Cheers you two! I'm so incredibly happy for you!
Thank you to Gaby Cheikh for killing it as my second shooter. You rock.
